Artist Statement

My work arises from a vital need to translate the invisible: emotions, memories, and inner tensions that demand form, color, and texture. I work as if each stroke were a confession, as if each layer revealed a story that existed before me, waiting to be discovered.

I use mixed media and organic materials that, when manipulated, acquire a tactile quality reminiscent of human skin. The surfaces of my works become skins that breathe, heal, erode, and transform. They are sensitive maps where memories, marks, and silences are inscribed. I am interested in that intersection between the physical and the symbolic, where matter seems to have a life of its own.

The creative process is, for me, deeply alchemical. It is not just about composing images, but about subjecting materials to transformation: pigments that oxidize, textures emerging from accidents, layers that merge and wear away. This alchemy does not seek absolute control, but a dialogue with uncertainty, with what arises when control is surrendered and time and matter are allowed to speak.

My pieces explore the relationship between the human and the intangible, the everyday and the transcendent. I do not seek closed answers. I aim to open a space: for looking, for feeling, for pause. Each creation is an invitation to inhabit ambiguity, to live with doubt, and to rediscover the beauty of imperfection.
